The first version of this guide was a single long page. It came out of a message to a friend and kept growing, like everything I write. The following week I built so many new things (a quality system, numbered folders, Claude on two computers, more tasks that run on their own) that it no longer fit in one article. Or in two.
So I split it into cards: each one is a topic, with its own article and a prompt to copy, ordered from simplest to most complex. If you're just starting, begin at level 1 and stop when you've got enough. If you already use Claude every day, skip what you know.
And if you're short on time, start with the list of what I'd do on day one if I had to build everything again.

Read ❧Updated on October 15, 2026. A week after splitting it into cards, I ran out of quota. Textbook irony: the one writing the guide on saving is the first to burn through everything. So I measured, changed rules and added twelve cards, marked as new, across two more levels. Level 4 is for thinking before building (interviews, maps, advisors). Level 5 is for when it gets out of your hands and tells, with numbers, how it got out of mine. There's also the interview that sets everything up, a document with a prompt that configures Claude for you by asking you questions.
